Benjamin von Seeger

Benjamin von Seeger is a senior sales executive known for delivering and sustaining revenue and profit gain within a competitive global telecommunications market. He has built world-class sales teams and implemented proven sales processes to exponentially increase revenue for multiple wholesale telecommunications providers. Throughout his 18-year professional career, Benjamin has held key sales positions with wholesale telecommunication and colocation service providers such as CENX, FiberNet Telecom Group, Terremark Worldwide – NAP of the Americas, MCI and Mannesmann Telecommunications in the US and Germany.
Prior to joining DELUXE – Hostopia, Benjamin served as the Director, Global Markets with CENX, the first carrier Ethernet exchange. With FiberNet/Zayo Bandwidth, Benjamin von Seeger was responsible for the development and management of multi-millions dollars in revenue from several international carrier accounts such as Brazil Telecom, T Systems, France Telecom, Telefonica and Telecom Italia. Benjamin also served as a Vice President at Terremark Worldwide Inc. (AMEX:TMRK), NAP of the Americas, where he secured multi-millions in contracts from the largest national and international telecommunication carriers, content providers and other major corporations from Latin America, Europe, Asia and the United States. Terremark was a leading operator of integrated Tier-1 Network Access Points (NAPs) and best-in-class network services, creating technology marketplaces in strategic global locations. The company was later sold to Verizon for $1.4B USD.
Benjamin von Seeger is multilingual professional  with proficiency in five languages: English, Italian, Romanian, German and Spanish. He holds a degree in Business Administration and International Relations from Ludwig Maximilian University Munich in Germany, and has been awarded several professional degrees and certificates. He is currently completing an Advance Management Program, Business Administration and Management coursework at Harvard Business School.
Ben has also served as a visiting co-lecturer at Keller Graduate School of Management/Devry University enhancing the critical thinking and learning process of undergraduate and graduate level students at large. He also served as a distinguished panelist for the graduate level capstone project end of term evaluations. Ben continues to support the academic endeavors of students for different universities in the United States and around the world.

Gerardo H. Chaljub

Mr. Gerardo H. Chaljub has been a Human Resource professional and Global Consultant with a proven track record and an extensive, successful background in International Human Resources Management, while directing major HR departments and undertaking major Global Consulting assignments in the U.S., European Union, Asia and Latin America.

A distinguished, visionary leader with professional skills that generated strategic partnerships where business goals and Human Resource Planning objectives drove a successful endeavor and revenue-generating streams for many diverse organizations worldwide.

Mr. Chaljub also served as a Sr. Advisor, Main Lecturer and Visiting Professor for distinguished universities in the U.S., Europe and Asia while developing course curriculum and charting the academic course and professional endeavors of undergraduate and graduate students in Business and Human Resource Management Programs.

Mr. Chaljub currently serves as Sr. Vice President of Human Resources / Sr. Global HR Consultant at GHC Consulting Services, Inc. – U.S. and European Division. He also dedicates his time as a Visiting Professor and Main Lecturer at DeVry University / Keller Institute of Management, Faculdade Ruy Barbosa (DeVry – Brazil) and Ramkhamhaeng University (Institute of International Studies (IIS) – Bangkok).

Prior to global consulting, Mr. Chaljub was the VP of Human Resources and Employee Relations at Terremark Worldwide, Inc. and Director of Compensation and Visiting Professor at Miami Dade College.

Mr. Chaljub is a multilingual professional with fluency in English, Spanish, Dutch and Papiamento. He graduated from Barry University with an MBA degree. He is in pursuit of a Doctorate degree in Human Resource Management.

Betty Smith

Betty Smith is an accomplished executive and decision-maker with a distinguished 14-year career in the Information Technology and Services industry. Currently, Ms. Smith serves as Director of Global Capacity Management and Implementation at CenturyLink, Inc. During her tenure, she has excelled in strategically managing and ensuring the successful integration of Savvis’ extensive network following its 2011 acquisition by CenturyLink.

Prior to her Directorship at CenturyLink, she held the role of Vice President of Network Infrastructure Provisioning and Equipment Deployment at Savvis, where she played a key role in the integration of a multi-million dollar global network following the company’s 2004 acquisition of Cable & Wireless. Ms. Smith began her career in IT as the Area Technical Support Manager at Sprint Communications, where her duties included overseeing all aspects of global network management.

Ms. Smith is a forward-thinking business leader and visionary change agent with a solid professional foundation in Network Architecture, M&A, Infrastructure, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Cloud Computing, Disaster Recovery, Managed and Professional Services, Virtualization, and more.

She holds a BA in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science from the University of North Texas.

 

Marcela Henao

 

Marcela Henao has built and executed business strategies for new and established U.S. and international telecommunications companies for more than 15 years. In working with more than 100 top Latin American companies and Global 1000 businesses, she has demonstrated her ability to guide start ups and multinational firms in penetrating new markets and achieving aggressive business goals. She has also established a strong record of success in sales execution, business development, negotiating processes, and strategic planning. She is considered an expert in telecommunications industry market dynamics and trends.

Before joining Leapfactor, Ms. Henao was a co-founder and vice president of sales at Terremark (NSQ:TMRK), a company that she positioned as the world’s leading telecommunications traffic exchange point. In this role, she helped develop a market around providing value-added services to worldwide telecommunications carriers and signed contracts with more than 100 accounts that are currently hosted by Terremark in the U.S. Earlier, Ms. Henao served as director for Latin America at Bellcore and Telcordia Technologies and held management positions at Microbit and IEA in Bogota, Colombia.
